The Weeknd finally releases his third installment in his trilogy of mixtapes. Echoes of Silence dropped just yesterday, and already has the Twitterverse going nuts with his cover of the Michael Jackson classic, “Dirty Diana.”
Although the 9-track set is the last of the Balloons trilogy, proceeded by Thursday and House of Balloons, be on the look out for more music from The Weeknd, considering that is rumored that he has tapped some industry heavyweights for his debut studio album.
Toronto’s very own The Weeknd aka Abel Tesfaye dropped another single entitled “Initiation”. The Ethiopian singer has already dropped two buzz worthy mixtapes (House of Balloons and Thursday) and is looking to drop his third compilation Echoes of Silence very soon. It isn’t known whether this track will be included to the upcoming project. Without further ado…
Check out the brand new mixtape from Toronto based single, The Weeknd. The new mixtape, Thursday is the second installment of a three-part mixtape series, and serves as the follow-up to his popular first mixtape effort, House of Balloons, released back in March.
The third part of the trilogy, Echoes of Silence will follow this fall. In the meantime, enjoy The Weeknd’s second part. Although his first mixtape received rave reviews, fans have been slightly split with the new effort.
