Timbaland joins forces with Miami rapper Pitbull for the first single of his new video, “Pass At Me.” The track is lifted from Timbaland’s upcoming new album, Shock Value III, which will hit stores this fall. There’s a cameo of famed producer/DJ David Guetta in there too!
Although it feels like just yesterday, August 25th will mark the 10th year following the tragic passing of R&B singer Aaliyah. Check out this preview clip from Aaliyah: One In A Million, BET’s upcoming tribute to the late singer. In the video, Timbaland and Missy Elliott recall the very first time they learned that they would be working with Ms. Aaliyah Haughton after she heard and enjoyed a track demo made by them:
We did a record called “Sugar & Spice” that Timbaland and another young man took into Atlantic Records, and when they heard that record they liked the sound and it was something they had never heard before. Super-producer and hitmaker Timbaland is getting ready to release the third installment of his Shock Value series, and he’s teamed with Pitbull and David Guetta for a brand new track.
“Pass At Me” is the first single lifted from Shock Value 3, which is slated to hit stores sometime this year. The album will feature collaborations from a myriad of artists, with whom Timbaland has worked with previously, however, will showcase new talent as well.
