(AIRING MONDAY, JULY 18TH) Things couldn’t be better for Val and Jerry… until Quinn shows up with a startling revelation. Keisha gets caught in the middle of an old feud between Malcolm and his brother. April tries to get Reed to focus more on his music than partying. And Christina gives Omar relationship advice. Quinn unexpectedly shows back up in Val’s life. New couple Malcolm and Keisha decide to throw a brunch for family and friends, which goes south when Malcolm’s estranged brother, Terrence, shows up. Reed settles into April’s new place and goes to work on writing new songs. After seeing how Vincent, Omar’s new boyfriend, treats him, Christina encourages Omar to figure out what he wants out of the relationship.
In related news, VH1 has greenlit a second season of “Single Ladies.” The network’s first hour-long scripted series has become really popular, averaging 2.8 million total viewers; coming in right after hit show, Basketball Wives. The season one will finale will air on August 8.

Behind every human being there’s a story. Rapper Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson embarked on a little journey to learn more about his family’s history and how it shaped who he is today. Although the 35 year-old rapper was adopted his grandmother, he proceeded his journey to learn more about his family’s roots. The first stop on 50′s journey was to roll through the South (Edgefield, South Carolina) where his grandparents migrated from back in the 50s. After a good two-season run, Vh1′s Basketball Wives is coming back with an all new season of drama, drama, drama! Season 3 begins with Shaunie O’Neal settling back into Miami determined to be drama free (yeah, okay, Shaunie.) She also balances a new shoe line, her love life, family outings and being a shoulder to lean on for the other ladies. Evelyn on the other hand makes the transition from being a basketball wife to a football wife with her fiancé Chad Ochocinco. Jennifer finally leaves Eric behind and navigates a new lifestyle as a single lady. With Royce’s new larger-than-life attitude, viewers will see if there is enough room for involvement with Jen, Evelyn and Shaunie or if her attitude will take the spotlight. Our girl Tami will be working on rebuilding her trust for the ladies and moving on from the past. But before she is able to forget the past, Tami must face an unexpected challenge from Evelyn who is given the unusual opportunity to profit from last season’s blowout in unexpected ways.
Looks like next season is going to be a juicy one! Basketball Wives premieres on Monday, May 30th at 8PM ET/PT on Vh1.

The famous Sister Sister duo Tia & Tamera Mowry are coming back to our television sets with their very own reality television show entitled Tia & Tamera Take 2. The show font color=”#FCC538″>follows the former child stars as they show how they have transitioned their careers and married lives. It is said that the show has been picked up by the Style network. Singer Mashonda posed for King Magazine’s Women of King issue. The single mother and former wife of producer Swizz Beatz posed seductively for the publication’s upcoming May/June 2011 issue. In an interview with the magazine, the Love & Hip-Hop reality television star talked a bit about her new single life, how it feels to be a counselor to her cast mate, Emily B, and what her loyalty tattoo means to her:
On being like a counselor to her friends:
At the time that we shot, I was in a great place, so that’s what made the difference. I felt like that was my therapy, and that’s all I wanted to do. Anytime I’d log in to Facebook or Twitter, there would be tons of women reaching out to me, thanking me for sharing my story. Those messages gave me a lot of strength, a lot of courage. From that point on, I just wanted to help women, and Emily being a good friend of mine, it was easy for me to go on there and talk to her and be honest. I’m like her support system, her counselor. I feel like a female Dr. Phil. That person who gives her advice and is not afraid to tell her my story and show her my life, ’cause I really want her to get hers together.
On the meaning of her loyalty tattoo:
I got it a year after everything started going downhill. It’s a reminder to me that I have to be loyal to myself for once. I was so loyal to everyone, and I totally forgot about me. This is what it represents—it represents loyalty to self. Now I have to do things that I love to do, and I have to make myself happy, because I don’t really agree when people say, “I need a man ’cause I want to be happy,” or “I’m not happy because I don’t have a man.” That’s not where it starts.
