WRR: You know people are always looking for something fresh- something new. The criticism last year was that we [The Game] were moving too fast. Now we’re moving too slow. A solid roster of celebrities attended the 21st Annual NAACP Theatre Awards at the Directors Guild of America on Monday evening (August 29) in Hollywood, California. Every year, the multi-cultural awards show celebrates the outstanding achievements and performances of people of color in the theater arts, specifically in sound, set design, costume, lighting, music directing and casting. After three seasons and being canceled on the The CW, The Game is back with their anticipated fourth season! On Monday night (January 10), the BET comedy-drama television series hosted an exclusive reception/premiere of its first episode at the Tribeca Grand Hotel. The entire cast (excluding Brittany Daniel who plays Kelly Pitts) was in attendance as well as the executive producer and creator, Mara Brock Akil and BET CEO, Mrs. Debra Lee.
Concreteloop had the opportunity to view the first episode which will be airing tonight. Let’s just say that the new season will feature many twists and turns, sexy and edgy, yet comical moments. There will also be many new faces added to the show, two of which will be played by actress Meagan Good and 106th & Park host, Terrence J.
