While the biggest news to come out of last night’s 2011 MTV Video Music Awards was undoubtedly Beyoncé’s pregnancy announcement, there were other things that went down, namely celebrity fashion. Hollywood’s best and brightest came out to walk the VMA red carpet, breaking out some of their most stylish gear (or attempting to, at least).

There was an apparent theme going on for last night’s VMA performers. Beyoncé, Bruno Mars, and Chris Brown all wore tuxedos while they entertained the masses.
Beyoncé showed she’s not letting a little thing like a baby bump keep her from rocking high fashion, as she performed ‘Love on Top’ wearing a Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2011 purple sequined tux.
Bruno donned a very similar look during his moving Amy Winehouse tribute. His blue silk tux jacket with black lapels, when paired with his slim necktie and old school hairstyle, create quite the retro look.
Chris went a different style route than Bey and Bruno, choosing head-to-toe white for his nearly show stopping performance.

Rapper Wiz Khalifa and his girlfriend model Amber Rose arrive at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards at Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE on Sunday (August 28) in Los Angeles, California.
