Wynter Gordon unveils the video for her latest single, “Buy My Love”, off her debut album With the Music I Die, which was released earlier this year. The video, which was directed by Bec Stupak, a New York performance artist, features actor Tristan Wilds.
Singer Wynter Gordon attended and performed at Beatstock 2011 in Farmingville, New York this past weekend. The rising star, who is gaining a big fan base internationally, sported an afro, floral crop top, cut off shorts and silver boots at the gig.
At first glance, I was immediately reminded of 70s FUNK & SOUL singer/songwriter Betty Davis (LINK). Best known for being Miles Davis’ 2nd wife and muse, it is evident that Betty was the inspiration for Wynter’s recent look. Check out the vintage photos below.
Singer/songwriter Omarion (pictured above) performed in New York City this past weekend in front of a packed lounge. The 26 year-old performed some of his old hits from B2K and admitted midway through the performance that he didn’t remember the lyrics to 2003 hit “Bump, Bump, Bump”. It also looks like he had a backing track but we aint the ones to judge. View video below..
In related news, Omarion is said to be working on a new album and recently released a new mixtape, The Awakening with positive reviews.
Check out the third single from pop-dance artist Wynter Gordon, “Buy My Love.”
Wynter is gearing currently up to release her debut album, With the Music I Die, on which she wrote all the material. She collaborated with producers such as David Guetta and Jupiter Ace for the project, giving it an organic, dance sound.
With the Music I Die will hit stores in the United States market on June 28th.
